We've all heard the advice that it's better to eat more slowly, presumably so the stomach gets a chance to register that it's full. Strangely enough, however, this tip hasn't had any scientific studies to back it up... until now. A study done on 30 women at the University of Rhode Island
concluded that "the women felt fuller and more satisfied immediately after they ate the meal and an hour later when they had consumed it slowly."
